AirLive presents two new cost-effective surveillance stations

The taiwanese brand AirLive announced the release of their new NVR8 and NVR16 surveillance stations. The only difference between them is that one can monitor only 8 IP cameras, whereas the other can mange up to 16 (can you guess which is which ?). They both allow video recording, without needing a computer, on SATAII HDDs up to 2TB. They support several video compression format, such as H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG. They also allow live browsing on your smartphone, and even remote camera control with iPhones and Blackberries.
Taipei, Taiwan: AirLive, one of the most advanced worldwide brands for networking and communication equipment has just released its latest products NVR8 /NVR16 new surveillance stations for monitoring and managing up to 8/16 IP cameras.
AirLive NVR8/NVR16 supports 2 high-speed SATA II Hard Drivers and up to 2TB storage capacity for recording large amount of video data in megapixel resolution for a longer period of time. The only difference is that NVR8 supports 8 channels (8 IP Cams) and NVR16 supports 16 channels (16 IP Cams). With built-in Gigabit LAN port, AirLive NVR8/NVR16 can easily handle the large amount of video recording files in fast data transmission rate. In addition, it supports H.264 video compression format in order to minimize the megapixel-quality file size as low as 10KB without losing the packages during the transferring. AirLive NVR8/NVR16 are high-efficient and high-performance surveillance storages for small to large-scale IP camera deployments, such as home, small office or retail shops.
Embedded with Linux technology, AirLive NVR8/NVR16 allows the direct video recording right from the IP camera to the surveillance storage. It also supports smart search of IP cameras and quick configuration. Furthermore, AirLive NVR8/NVR16 comes with the web-based setup UI that enables users to easily establish, access, review, and manage their cameras and the recording via the IE Internet browsers.
AirLive NVR8/NVR16 features with several recording functionalities, such as smart PTZ control, pre-set point patrol, motion detection and email alert. For monitoring, NVR8/NVR16 supports e-map function for live street viewing and high performance remote live monitoring at 30fps in 1280×1024 resolutions through the browser on PC or smart phone.
