Introduced last week during a press conference, the Thermo Mirror SX-01 from NEC Avio, a NEC subsidiary, is a small contactless skin temperature measurement device featuring NEC Avio latest Infrared technology.

This Thermo Mirror SX-01 is dedicated to any companies required to monitor its staff/personnel temperature without the needs of using intrusive checking methods. By simply looking at a mirror, the SX-01 will immediately check your face temperature and will trigger a response, either positive or either negative depending on the base temperature threshold configured in the SX-01.

Not only the Mirror SX-01 can easily be mounted in any private facilities or Public ones, like airports for example, but it also marks a huge step forward for the company to offer accurate yet affordable Infrared temperature measurement devices. Two models will be available with the SX-01A announced at 98,000 Yen and the SX-01B with built-in alarm system announced at 120,000 Yen.
