Japan Really Crazy About 3D, Research Firm Reports

Crunchgear writes about a report from Japanese research company BCN Inc. stating that 3D Blu-ray recorders made up 56.8% of total BD-R devices shipped in Japan in December, and 23% of 40-inch-and-up TVs sold in the same month were 3D. Compared to BCN’s July figures of 3.7% and 4.7% respectively, the huge jump is staggering.
It is also important to notice that nowadays it is getting extremely difficult to find correct Blu-Ray recorder that is not already 3D capable, sames goes with TVs that are now more and more 3D ready, so bottom line, this reports may strictly mean nothing at all! Who said like usual?
