Logitec’s new LHR-DS04EU2 brings a slot-in e-Sata HDD enclosure to your TV or PC

Logitec Japan introduced this morning its new HDD enclosure, the LHR-DS04EU2. Unlike many other eSATA and USB enclosures this one comes with a “slot-in” type configuration allowing you to easily swap drives without having to dismount it every single time you need to change its internal drive.
One of the other main features of the LHR-DS04EU2 is to be compatible with Sony’s TORNE Digital TV Tuner and any other TVs capable to record video on external drive.

Sorry but this is hardly news.. AC Ryan already has such a slot in thingy, bought it myself 3 years ago! Also esata.
Even better, you can link an internal power connector from any pc to give it power… the benefit? The harddisk goes to sleep and will only turn on if you need it
