The Nintendo 3DS can prevent your girlfriend from cheating

Well, not your real girlfriend obviously that would be insane. Not that this is not. Remember how we talked about the Love+ phenomenon, well Engadget published yesterday a news about the latest installment of the series on the 3DS. The game uses what the editor calls a “boyfriend lock”, preventing your friends from playing with your virtual girlfriend through the use of facial recognition. If someone other than you boots up the game, the girl will look confused and keep asking “who are you ?”. The fact that they implemented this functionality must mean that this was an actual concern expressed by many testers/customers. And here I was thinking life would be easier with a virtual girlfriend…
