Sanwa Supply Announces Non-Apple Magic Mouse

Apple’s Magic Mouse was indeed double-take-worthy when it was announced, putting a multitouch pad on top of an optical mouse – and multitouch in non-laptop Apple users’ hands. There are, however, a sizable legion of staunch anti-Apple folk whose capitalistic or idealistic views preclude them from benefiting from a multitouch pad on top of an optical mouse. Sanwa, a computer supplies designer and manufacturer, comes to the rescue with its new multitouch mouse, the MA-TOUCH1. Unfortunately not Bluetooth, but it supports features like four-direction scrolling and two-fingered swipes, along with the expected left and right clicks. 54 mm x 91 mm x 21 mm (2.13 in x 3.58 in x 0.83 in) and 45 g (1.58 oz), along with a tiny USB receiver. Comes in four colors: black, red, silver, and white.
