[O.T] Inside a Japanese Supermarket
Well as you know today is a public Holiday, and my family and I decided to head back to our country house in Izukogen until next Monday. While doing my shopping on Ito only supermarket, I decided to shoot some picture with my iPhone for you and share a bit of Japanese everyday life with you.
If you want to know a country, the first thing you have to do is to visit one of its Supermarket, and there you will find an amazing amount of stuff you will never imagine it even exist, like this rather expensive bottle of water (2l) which will cost for the most expensive one 748 Yen (€6.85 or $8.98 USD), pretty expensive indeed when you compare to the Evian bottle just next to it that cost just 148 Yen (€1.35 or $1.77USD).
What so special about this bottle of water you may wonder? Well it appears that this water is coming straight from the depth of the see and was collected at around 1000m of depth, purified and then sold. Just out of curiosity I bought one a year ago and did not liked it that much, the water with quite “Heavy” and taste like the Belgian famous SPA Mineral water.
Among the other “fun” stuff you will find some dry fish, Construction/Safety Helmet, squid, seaweed, Sake, Beer and Japanese favorite Ice Cream flavor… Red Bean.
Anyway, just check the gallery below and if you have any questions on the photos below, please feel free to post them in the comment section, I will try my best to answer them all!
Oh and if you are interested to get some live shots of Japan during the following next few days, make sure to follow my Tweets on Akihabara News HP or here directly.
