Tanita BC-502. the geek’s Bluetooth scale

Tanita is a Japanse company specialized in health equipment and they offer a complete range of semi-professional and professional weighing scales. Just like other manufacturers of this equipment, Tanita have scales that send a small electric current to the person that wants to weigh him/herself in order to not only measure the weight but also the muscular mass and fat ratio. Some models can be connected to a PC via USB so you can keep track of your weight in an electronic way. This BC-502 however is the ultimate version because it has a Bluetooth module that can transmit the data to a mobile phone and then on to a website that can be checked by your doctor too.
