Hand-Made Christmas Pop-Up Cards: How To

Christmas certainly is not a Japanese invention, but we have turned it into a major cultural event with intricate illuminations, Christmas in-store background music, Christmas-themed fast food packages, and a blindingly wide range of giftable products on sale in stores.
Social bookmarking site Hatena Bookmark has an article with links to two tutorials (and one Hatena article) on making pop-up cards and cute origami figures for the Christmas holidays. Instructions are unfortunately in Japanese, but come with pictures and diagrams that should make them easy to follow.
