Hitachi’s first perpendicular recording Travelstar 5K160

This is the Travelstar 5K160, a SATA or IDE HDD that uses the “perpendicular recording” technology. It’s available in capacities ranging from 40 to 160GB, all with 8MB of cache. the 1.8″ models will be available at the end of 2006.
