The Toshiba REGZA T-01C smartphone will go on sale on the 17th of December, NTT Docomo announced last Friday. We covered it here when I went to the Docomo newphones press conference back in November, and it seems a better choice of smartphone than any of the Sharp offerings, even though the latter’s new models – both 3D and otherwise – are getting all the attention. It’s waterproof! Four-inch touchscreen, 12-megapixel camera, infrared comm, one-seg TV and touchless IC payment; 126x62x14.7mm (4.96×2.44×0.58 in) and 149 grams (5.26 oz).
