[Eco Product 2010] Casio Solar powered Watches

[Eco Product 2010] Casio Solar powered Watches

Solar powered watches are not something new, but we have to admit that Casio is a leader in this field with outstanding products available through its G-Shock and Oceanus series.

At ECO PRODUCT 2010, Casio had a nice little booth where you could see an interesting exploded video of one of its G-Shock, where the actual Solar Panel is placed just behind the watch face. Casio also demonstrate that their watch just needs 6.2W (what an LED light is consuming) or power to provide up to 860,000 watch movements on like on this gorgeous OCEANUS.

If you had any doubt on Casio’s commitment to provide great watch as earth friendly as possible make sure to Visit the maker Official TOUGH SOLAR pages to get a taste of Casio’s commitment in that matter.
