Green House Sells 100BASE-TX Switching Hub with Green Twist

Green House’s new five-port switching hub, the GH-EHS5MIG, has an interesting twist to it: it’s ecologically friendly.
This 100BASE-TX switching hub has such standard features as auto MDI-X ports, full- and half-duplex communication, flow control, 2000-entry MAC address table, 48Kbyte buffer memory, a Japanese-made capacitor, and a quiet fan-less design, but also comes with an Ethernet cable length sensor that automatically adjusts output power, and an auto-powersaving mode that kicks in for ports that aren’t in use – including ports connected to computers that are powered down. This eco-friendly image for the hub is solidified by the budding green plant printed on the front face of the hub. 335 grams (11.8 oz), 150x85x26 mm (6×3.3×1 in).
