The Shiratos are a family invented by Softbank Japan to promote their products. It is not your typical family. The mother and sister are Japanese ladies, the brother is a black guy and the father is a cute white dog (perhaps an American Eskimo?). This campaign has been hugely successful and the most popular character is of course the cute dad. Father Shirato appears on countless promotional items and merchandise, and now you can have him in crystal, on your iPhone 4, but you have to apply the crystals yourself. Well, who doesn’t like “crafting” when the weather turns cold? The kit goes on sale tomorrow, but the price hasn’t been released. The kit comes with everything you need to create the image of father Shirato; the case, all the crystals, glue, spatula, and a crystal pick. No creativity is needed, just a steady hand and some patience.
