TDK tries to bring back the boombox trend

TDK unveiled recently two modern boombox models, and they don’t look too shabby. The recently reopened TDK audio branch worked wonders on the design of these new babies, with a basic yet trendy kind of look. The 3-speaker model has a 15W subwoofer in-between two 10W standard speakers, the lighter 2-speaker model doesn’t get a subwoofer but a shoulder stap (yay !).
Both come with USB and audio connectivity, info display on-screen and touch-sensitive commands. Prepare 399$ for the little one and 499$ for the fat one, they will supposedly be available early 2011.
