IO-DATA’s Full HD HDD recorder, the HVR-HD500R

IO-Data presents 2 new Full HD HDD recorders with a 250 or 500GB HDD and an i.Link connector to get hooked up to the TV. The Full HD part is not 1080i though, because here in Japan, Full HD is 1125i… which surpised me a bit too, but anyway… It was already difficult enough to sort out the Full HD and HD Ready mess, and now they start doing something particular in Japan… very confusing for end-users!
