Korean youngsters may be facing an internet curfew

South Korea’s ministries of culture and family are dealing with some serious addiction problems amongst the country’s youth. They are reporting debilitating addictions to the internet. To attack the dangerous distraction, the government is toying with the idea of putting a ban on the internet from midnight until 6m for anyone under the age of 16. While there are some horror stories surfacing regarding internet use; a couple who neglected their baby, who eventual starved to death, while raising a virtual child online; the murder/suicide by a teenager who was scolded for using the internet too much. These seem to be the stories of freaks who would surely find some other outlet for their sickness even if the internet were not around. From what I hear, Korean high school students stay at school until midnight anyways, so when are they supposed to go online?
