HDTV: So where’s that 2nd video of the Akihabara visit?

So first of all thank you for the roughly 100 emails we received to congratulate us with the video and asking us to continue our efforts and shoot the second part soon… do not worry, the second part will be shot next week, but we’ve had some weather-issues every time we wanted to go out recently to shoot the sequel.
In the meantime, here’s a little suprise, also for us, because Totoro and myself did not expect this. We were recognized by 2 couples (one from the US and the other one from Canada) and they shared their point of view on Akiba with us. Our statistics show it to us (2 million visitors per month soon!) and this is the confirmation: Akihabara News has become a reference site in the US and Canada! So thanks to the charming 2 couples for their time and we hope they get home safely with plenty of souvenirs of their very long journey in Japan.

I’m a Yank living in Japan, but since I live in Kanagawa, west of Tokyo I don’t get a chance to venture to Akihabara much.

I really appreciate your tech blog, and have English speaking friends who also rely upon Akihabara News.

Since you are kind enough to put your posts in English, I’m much more motivated to pop in and look. Certainly, this has a lot to do with your success. I even cite you folks in my own blog (below) from time to time.

Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks!

I, too, enjoy the site and the news. The articles and videos are great, enjoyable, and well done. Its become one of the websites I visit daily. As with Umijin, I appreciate the fact and time that the team takes to provide the news in various languages (including English for us monolinguists, though I’ll be starting a program to learn Japanese soon).
