Yamaha’s new iPod dock looks good, offers great sound quality with the added IntelliAlarm feature that gradually increases the volume of your alarm to avoid being awoken with a start and eliminating the danger of hitting snooze and dozing off again. There is an iPod port on the top, as well as a USB port. Sure there are aps that have gradual wake settings, but the Yamaha’s TSX-140 iPod has the docking system and the IntelliAlarm all-in-one for a smooth transitions into the sentient world. Retails for $400.
