Yesterday Samsung unveiled its new Super PLS tech, a WXGA mobile display that could arguably become the future of Smartphones and Tablets. PLS stands for “Plane to Line Switching” and boasts unseen before viewing angles, which could prove a threat to IPhone 4′s IPS tech.
Samsung declared that their new baby is 10% brighter and 15% cheaper to build than its current high end rivals. The mass production should start early next year and with more than 30 patents related to Super PLS, Samsung might be securing its position as the leader in mobile displays.
