Samsung Shows of Concept Foldable 3D OLED TV

They just don’t stop there at Samsung, do they? All we hear about these days is 3D TV, 3D TV, 3D TV. Now say that fast. I can’t believe I am writing this, but news about 3D displays is getting kind of stale, but good ole Samsung keeps it fresh. At FPD International, the Korean maker showed off their concept flexible AMOLED display. It won’t be coming to market anytime soon, but this display is obviously the future of TV. The greatest apparent advantage of flexibility is that when folded in a certain way, viewers can enjoy optimum 3D viewing from anywhere in the room, not just smack-dab center in front of the screen. Pretty neat, but don’t hold your breath, it’ll be a good 5-10 years before you can get one.
