LG and QD Vision team up on QLED displays

LG Electronics and QD Vision have partnered up to develop the next generation of displays featuring QLED (Quantum dot LED) screens. The QLED displays will be cheaper and just as stable and reliable as LCDs, and will have twice the power efficiency, and be 30 to 40% brighter than OLEDs. No word yet on when these will be coming to market.
