T-Zone, one of Akihabara most famous store goes under
Akihabara district is day by day loosing its best Computer & Electronic Stores, and since November 29, T-Zone, one of the Store I often went and buying part for my DIY PCs (Desktops, HTPC, Office Working Station), announced that they has stop all business activities and shut their door once and for all…
Sad, very sad. But in the other hand it is difficult now in Japan to fight against huge corporations and business like Yodobashi Camera, after all even SoftMap is struggling to survive. Add to this “atmosphere” a bad economy, the pressure from local associations to cleanup Akihabara District in order to build Japan next “Silicon Valley” as well as the ever-growing pressure of cheap online stores and you will quickly realize that there are nowadays fewer opportunities for stores like T-Zone.
