Let’s Visit Tokyo – Quick walk in Ginza
Another short video from Benoa-San with this Quick Walk in Ginza. Today we will follow Benoa from the Subway to Ginza main street.
Japanese people like to compare Ginza to the “Champs-Élysées” in Paris, well personally I think this is rather insulting for France, sure the numbers of Luxury Stores are almost everywhere in Ginza, but Ginza is just dead ugly. On the other hands, Omotesando could actually win the be called the Japanese “Champs-Élysées” without offending too much anyone.
Anyway Ginza, like the “Champs-Élysées” mainly attract tourist across Japan and overseas, people living in Tokyo would rather prefer spending their shopping time elsewhere. But, it is true that you may found many interesting stuff to see in Ginza is you love shopping or having a fancy dinner, and I would recommend you, if you can afford it, to go and check the Restaurant : Beige.
Located on the Top of the Channel Building, this restaurant has been designed by Channel and Alain Ducasse, a famous French Chef. The place is just gorgeous and the cuisine is of course sublime.
