LG unveiled its Green Membrane Bioreactor wastewater treatment solution
Category: Environment - Tags: G-MBR, Green membrane bioreactor, Lg, wastewater treatment, water treatment

Two months ago, LG announced that they would be getting into the wastewater treatment business. Today, they unveiled the Green Membrane Bioreactor (G-MBR) process. It used the latest technology, and places in LG in a position to become a major player in the water treatment industry. LG’s ultra-thin microfiltration membrane modules allow the system to take up 34% less space than traditional membrane bioreactors. In comparison to other systems, LG’s G-MBR removes almost twice as much phosphorous, which is seriously damaging to the biology of lakes, ponds, and other bodies of water. Employed in the right locations, this system could have a significant impact on the health and wellbeing of large chunks of the global population.
