Wireless audio-enable your ride with PhotoFast AP1000

This is no regular car audio adaptor. There are no cables, CDs, lighter plugs, nope; the AP1000 is wireless motorized vehicle listening through your iPod, iPad, or iPhone. The device needs quite a lot of attention for installation, read: do not try this yourself since you need to completely remove the dash panel. Once you’re set-up though, you can easily connect to the PhotoFast via wifi for output. It seems really easy and convenient, plus a nice way to share the task of DJ-ing when on a road trip with many iDevice owners. I wonder though, if the connected player needs to be disconnected before another one connects, or can different iDevices boot each other off the air.
Radio output power is 20dBm, and frequency bands are 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Wireless protocol: draft 802.11n, 802.11a/b/g. Retails for $299, plus installation.
