Samsung has announced that it’ll rank 1st in TV markets for the 19th consecutive quarter since 2006. With its 21.3% market share across all the major TV markets (Flat TV, LCD TV and PDP TV) and 10.47 million TV sold, the Korean giant is well on its way to be crowned world’s leading TV maker again for the 5th year in a row.
Samsung, a household name in global TV market ranked first for the 19 consecutive quarters in TV markets since 1Q 2006, and on pace to achieve the world’s top TV maker for the whole 5 years. According to DisplaySearch, a leading global market research firm, it has had 21.3% market share for the 3Q 2010.
It also accomplished “quadruple 20”, which indicates more than 20% market share across all the major TV markets including Flat TV, LCD TV and PDP TV for the 3Q 2010. It also sold out 10.47 million TV, placing Samsung unparalleled in the TV industry.
With this staggering performance in numerical terms, now the consumers came to think Samsung as their first choice when it comes to 3D TV, Smart TV, and It plans to lead the market continuously.
