The world’s thinnest LCD by Toshiba Matsushita Display

Toshiba Matsushita Display, a joint venture between the 2 biggest Japanese PC manufacturers, presents a 12.1″ Poly-Si LCD with LED backlight technology that is only 2.9mm thick. This type of screen will be used in laptops, and it’s currently the thinnest on the market. It offer a brightness of 300cd/m2 and a 1280×800 resolution.
