Sony reader app for iPhone and Android about to hit app stores
Category: Software - Tags: Android, E-reader, e-reader app, Iphone, Reader, Sony, Sony e-reader, Sony e-reader app

Kindle’s got one, so does Barnes&Nobel, and throngs of developers have put out various versions. I’m talking about reader apps for smartphones here. Now with more and more books being published as pdfs as well as in the traditional bound format, coupled with the ubiquity of iPhones and droids, it makes perfect sense that these types of apps would be picking up steam. As for why techno-heavyweight, Sony, is just getting in the game now, one can only hope that it is because their reader app is really really awesome.
It does all the usual purchasing, storing, bookmarking, note taking, highlighting that one would expect, and it also allows for font customization. Check it out next month!
