Acer Announces its First 3D Laptop

Acer Inc has announced its entry into the 3D laptop market with the AS5745DG-A54E/L, a 15.6-inch “high cost-performance model” machine with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M (with NVIDIA’s 3D VISION at 120Hz), an Intel Core i5-460M processor at 2.53GHz, 4GB of RAM and a 640GB hard drive, HDMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 1.3Mpx webcam, and 3D VISION glasses. Bundled with Windows 7 Home Premium x64, this high-spec package comes at “less than 100K yen”. Scheduled to appear in stores on the 3rd next month.
