Most Brits don't want a 3D TV for Christmas

Twenga, a shopping search engine, has conducted its annual Christmas shopping survey: the results are in, and they’re not so surprising (to me at least).

52% of Brits don’t want to receive a 3D TV for Christmas, and neither do the Germans and the Dutch. However, the French (57%), the Italian (69%) and the Spanish (61%) would like to find a 3D TV under their Christmas tree. (Me thinks perhaps the North of Europe is more cautious with its money!)

One of the main reasons they see for not being offered a 3D TV is the price: 32% of Brits and 48% of the Spanish find it too expensive.

Can’t say I don’t agree with them… How about you?

I think it’s got more to do with the silly glasses you need to wear to watch the telly with. I wear glasses as it is…so wearing another pair on top isnt practical…..then of course, how many glasses do I buy….what if friends come round?…..BYO glasses for the 3d footie? Not thought out and detain to flop.

Proper 3d without the glasses……that’s where the money is

exactly, i would buy a 3DTV only if it does not require me to wear another extra pair of glasses ontop of my current ones. come on sharp, get that glassless 3D screen of yours onto a set of tv

maybe when its more perfected and without glasses it will be more accepted
