Plextor’s New 4-HDD NAS

Plextor, the optical disc recorder brand, has announced a new network-attached storage device with four hot-swappable hard drive bays, twin 2GB/s Ethernet ports, as well as storage space expandability with USB and external SATA ports. The four hard drives can be arrayed in RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10; Plextor are marketing this NAS for small- and medium-sized businesses, and provide the option of encrypting the hard drives with an AES 256-bit algorithm for protecting sensitive information.
