Sony presents a new digital camera, the DSC-T30. This 7.2MP camera has a Super HAD CCD sensor, a 3″ screen and ISO values up to 1000. You can also shoot your pictures in RAW.

Unfortunately the so-called "Clear RAW" Noise-Reduction technology
does not really create RAW output. It creates JPEGs in which
some noise-reduction was applied in-camera.
You cannot avoid the JPEG compression, since it outputs JPEG not RAW.
So, you cannot process it with RAW-converter software, and
you cannot get the extra quality and extended adjustments
and extra dynamic-range etc., that would be available with a
true RAW mode.
