LCOS video projector by Canon

The PIE 2006 was held in Japan this weekend, and Canon presented the successor of their SX50: an LCOS projector with a 1400×1050 resolution, 3500 lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. This projector is designed for Home Theater use, and it offers a very interesting feature, the colour autocorrection. so if you, for example don’t have a white but a green screen, the projector can correct and adjust itself to display the video on a green screen in the best possible way. A very advanced product indeed by Canon, and we should get a release date and the final product name soon.
