Samsung to launch 70-inch 3D TV

Samsung Electronics has announced the upcoming release of 70-inch 240Hz 3 LCD panels, following in the footsteps of AUO’s monster TV. With its 800 million pixel resolution, the displays use oxide semiconductor TFTs as drive elements and boasts high video performances. Next models will be equipped with 480Mhz displays and improved glasses.

No word yet on possible release dates or pricing.
