Buffalo to offer Harry Potter HDD

Buffalo, in cooperation with Warner Home Video, will release two hard drives with the 6 Harry Potter movies preloaded on them: HD-LBU2/Hpx6 and Hd-PCTU2/Hpx6.

HD-LBU2/Hpx6 boasts 1TB of storage, measures 39×123×189mm for 1kg. In contrast, the Hd-PCTU2/Hpx6 only has 500GB, but measures 77 × 14 × 114mm for 165g. Both have USB 2.0 connectivity. All 6 Harry Potter movies in DivX format are included, and are protected with DRM (won’t play without an internet connection).

No word on pricing yet. The hard drives will be available in November.
