Century Announces New Ext HDD Case with LCD Display

Century have announced a new external hot-swappable hard drive enclosure with cooling fans, heat sensors, and an LCD display that puts relevant information right on the front of the case, named the CWRS2LCD-BK. Measuring 149x185x42 mm and weighing 700 g (sans 3.5-inch hard drive), this enclosure allows for swapping hard drives by simply opening the front panel, on which is an LCD screen that displays hard drive temperature (which also turns on an alarm when it reaches a preset value), computer uptime, and the number of revolutions of the two fan. Scheduled to ship beginning in early November.
