Onkyo introduces Final Fantasy ready Desktop in Japan

Onkyo introduces Final Fantasy ready Desktop in Japan

Onkyo released in Japan the DT615-FF, a new Desktop meeting the requirement imposed by Square Enix in Japan to offer the best user experience possible when playing to Final Fantasy Online (XIV). Sold in Japan with a 21.5” Full HD LED Backlight monitor at 149,800 Yen or 129,800 without the LCD monitor, our DT615-FF comes with an Intel Core i7-870 CPU, 4GB of RAM (up to 16GB) a 5400rpm 1TB HDD (5400rpm?!?!?), a Blu-Ray disc burner, a GeForce GTX460 with 768GB of VRAM and a 500W Power Supply.

Sure you may get better specs if you are building this device yourselves, but for those not capable to do so or too lazy, Onkyo’s Final Fantasy ready DT615-FF is a nice little desktop to consider.

Thats great, so they are now offering people PC’s that are proven to work with the game but they have yet to actually offer a game that works! Im a big Square and FF fan but this game is just unplayable, I keep hearing deals and stuff from places that are still trying to market towards the game and cant believe they are still trying to sell people that garbage of a thing they call a game…

most games are actually programmed for consoles, Xbox/PS3. When games get a PC release it usually means they didn’t bother proper debugging the PC version and will fix that edition in “future patches”. This has always been a mayor problem for PC gamers.

It’s actually so much easier to program for console, you have 1 (or 2) consoles with fixed specifications all over the world. In PC terms you have millions of possible configurations and driver setups.. try doing good for all isn’t easy.
