However, I&#039;m of two minds:  While I don&#039;t want something that&#039;ll last for generations taking up landfills, I often hang on the the packing materials (in case I move, need to ship it back, sell or otherwise send to someone else) so hopefully it doesn&#039;t compost itself as long as you keep it dry.]]></description>
