Sceptre has released a super slim, wall-mountable 42" LED HDTV

Sceptre, the California-based manufacturer of world-class LED, LCD TVs and Monitors, has just announced the addition of its new 42-inch 120 Hz LED HDTV to its Galaxy Series, E420BV-F120. Compared to traditional LCDs, the LED TVs in the Galaxy Series are much slimmer and offer superior on-screen imagery, more vivid colors, and are considerably lighter too. This sleek 42-inch LED HDTV weighs just 38.6 lbs and is .9” and 1.75” at its thinnest and thickest points, respectively. It even saves about 36 percent more energy than comparable LCD HDTVs.
It’s has a 120Hz refresh rate, and comes with five HDMI ports, which allow users to connect to multiple peripherals like computers, game consoles, and Blu-ray players. Three of these ports are located on the side for added convenience.
This 42” full LED HDTV (1920 x 1080) comes with 450 cd/m2 brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours, and two 10 watts per Channel speakers. It’s wall-mountable and comes with a tempered glass stand. The press release states the MSP at $999, but on Septre’s website it’s listed at $1299. You can go to Target, Sears, Amazon, Kmart, or NewEgg to verify.
