Audio-Technica is holding a Christmas song contest

With a crisp bite in the air, and lots of sniffling being heard these days (ew!), we know that the Christmas season is just around the corner (yey!). Christmas means wading through crowded shopping malls while hearing the same Christmas tunes as were heard when people actually wondered around caroling in the cold. The classics are getting pretty tired, as is going shopping at the mall. With the convenience of online shopping, one has to wonder where this tradition is heading.
Well, Audio-Technica is taking to the interwebs, not only to get people singing and sharing online, but in search of a brand new future classic Christmas carol. That’s right, a contest!
The UK-wide competition, which is being judged by Grammy & Brit award-winning record producer and chairman of the Music Producers Guild Steve Levine, is being formally launched via Audio-Technica’s social media channels of Facebook and Twitter.
The top prize of £500 or five runners-up prizes of £100 worth of Audio-Technica equipment. As an extra incentive the first 100 entries will all receive a free pair of Audio-Technica ATH-CK51 headphones worth £30 each. Entries must be uploaded via YouTube. All the details of the contest are at the following link.
