Ortustech introduce the world smallest full HD Hyper Amorphous Silicon TFT

The last record what hold by CASIO in 2008 with a 2” Hyper Amorphous Silicon TFT offering a resolution of 960 x 540 pixel. Today however, Ortustech who’s count Casio as shareholder announced a new HAST (Hyper Amorphous Silicon TFT) full HD (1920×1080) screen of 4.8” and a 458ppi with a 160 degrees view angle (Left/Right) and with a 72% (RGB Coverage) color gamut.

This new HAST will be the perfect tool for broadcasting equipment at first and will later be available in more consumer oriented products.
