Acer releases two new Aspire laptops
The Taiwan-based computer-maker Acer has just launched two new low-priced laptop lines: the Aspire AS5742 and the Aspire AS5745, weighting 2.6kg and measuring 381x253x25/34mm, equipped with a 15.6″ HD LCD display (1366×768), 6-cell battery (3.5 hours annonced), Acer Crystal Eye 1.3MP webcam, and Windows 7 Home Premium.
The Aspire AS5742 line comes in two models: the A32 and the A52.
The AS5742-A32 has an Intel® Core i3-370M 2.40 GHz processor, 2GB DDR3-1066MHz RAM, a 2.5″ 5400rpm SATA 320GB HDD (or 500GB), Intel® HD graphics card, WiFI/Ethernet, a 2-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC). Price: 60,000 yens/740$/535€ for the basic version; 80,000 yens/990$/715€ for the upgraded version.
The A52 packs an Intel® Core i5-460M 2.53 GHz processor, 2GB DDR3-1066MHz RAM, a 2.5″ 5400rpm SATA 500GB HDD (or 500GB), Intel® HD graphics card, WiFI/Ethernet, a 2-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC). Price tag: 70,000 yens/860$/625€ for the basic version; 90,000 yens/1,110$/800€ for the upgraded version.
The Aspire AS5745 line comes in three models: the A54, the N54, the N74.
The A54 has an Intel® Core i5-460M 2.53 GHz processor, 4GB DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM/soDIMM, a 2.5″ 5400rpm SATA 640GB HDD, Intel® HD graphics card, WiFI/Ethernet. Price tag: 80,000 yens/990$/715€.
As for the N54, it’s equipped with an Intel® Core i5-450M 2.40 GHz processor, 4GB DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM/soDIMM, a 2.5″ 5400rpm SATA 640GB HDD, a NVIDIA® GeForce® 310M 512Mb graphics card, WiFI/Ethernet, a 2-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC). Price to be annonced.
Lastly, the N74E has an Intel® Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz processor, 4GB DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM/soDIMM, a 2.5″ 5400rpm SATA 640GB HDD, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M 1Gb, WiFI/Ethernet/Bluetooth, Blu-ray, a 5-in-1 card reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS PRO/xD), 4 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port. Price to be annonced.
