Let’s Visit Tokyo – Ikegami Honmonji O-Eshiki

One of Tokyo most famous and crowded “Omatsuri” (Japanese Traditional Festival), the Ikegami Honmonji O-Eshiki gather over 300,000 people coming from all japan each year.
More than a simple Omatsuri the Ikegami Honmonji O-Eshiki is a memorial service commemorating the anniversary of High Priest Nichiren’s death.
Celebrated each year around the same period (12 of October) the Ikegami Honmonji O-Eshiki should be a priority on your “To Do List”. A concentrate of Japanese culture such event is also a good portrait of the Japanese society in its every aspect like is beauty, candor and kindness, but it also reveal how Japanese people are in other, less “elegant” ways where alcohol often reveal anyone identity.
