Since the past several years, Nissan is the only Japanese car manufacturer to attend and display its latest technology at CEATEC. While this year was not really the best ever for CEATEC or for its exhibitors, NISSAN however introduce a very interesting Low-Carbon City Driving Simulator, built in cooperation with Namco Bandai, as well as a “Solar Tree”, a solar-powered wireless charging station for EV (Electric Vehicles).

This 12m tall “Solar Tree”, is made of three translucent solar panels that like a “Sunflower” will follow the sun orientation. These panels have a 30% conversion efficiency rate capable to generate up to 20kilowatts.
At our “Solar Tree” base you will find tree leaf shaped wireless charging pad made to charge any compatible EV without cables from a short distance.
