The CCU-550, a CDMA EV-DO Modem USB key

Now here’s a bright idea! A plain USB key that is in fact a CDMA 1x EV-DO modem that offers a theoretical surf speed of 2.4Mbps! Just for those who are not up-to-speed on what CDMA is: this is the American alternative to GSM, and CDMA 1x is the alternative for W-CDMA or UMTS or 3G. And in that CDMA 1x you have EV-DO (Evolution Data Only), which can be compared to GPRS but then at 2.4Mbps. A very cool USB key, and available only in Korea (of course). Too bad we don’t have this in Japan or the US.
