Hell Freeze Over: LG to finally enter the Japanese TV market!

Until Today it was IMPOSSIBLE to get any Korean Branded TVs in a Japan store, and strong from their leadership in the market, Japanese TV Manufacturer was quite “Generous” on their retail price – often twice as expensive as in other countries for the same model. Also LG’s announcement to propose no less than ten TVs in Japan ranging from 22 to 50” Models with the LX9500 series is just GOOD news for any one looking for good and cheaper alternatives to Japanese models.
LG’s Series of new TVs will be LED Backlit and for the 55” LX9500 it will also feature 3D technology.
In Japan, Sharp retains 54.4% of the overall TV market Share followed by Panasonic with only 22.1%, Toshiba with 10.8%, Sony with 9.7% and Hitachi with only 2.7%. Other brand like Mitsubishi are below the 2% mark with 2 other manufacturers.
