New Logitec SOUNDBeans iPhone&iPod Dock Speaker

Logitec, the Japanese computer peripherals manufacturer (not to be confused with Lotigech, the Swiss mouse-and-webcam company) has announced the LDs-SiP500 iPhone and iPod dock speaker. Sporting two round “beans style” speakers bracketing the iDevice, the dock can be connected with a USB cable to a computer to charge and sync the device with iTunes, or to a wall socket to charge without a computer. The dock connector even has clearance for the iPhone 4 bumper, good news for people who actually use their iPhone as a phone. The unit weights 240 grams (8.5 oz) and comes in black, pink, and white. The dock is scheduled to go on sale in mid-October and is open priced.
