SkyShot 500, the other Xacti

The Xacti’s rule the segment of the small, pocketable video cameras that use flash memory for storage. Here’s some competition from Japan for them though, the SkyShot 500. It seems to rely on a 4MP sensor from Sony and has 16MB of internal memory, but most of the files will be stored onto SD cards… up to 512MB only though. It also shoots MPEG4 videos at a resolution of 640×480 at 30fps. Looks rather nice we must admit, but the quality of the videos and pictures doesn’t really inspire too much confidence…
