Sony PDW-F330 XDCAM HD

Sony has announced 2 new HD XDCAM cameras, the PDW-F330K (with lense) and the L (without lense), and also a HD XDCAM recorder and viewer. This is obvisouly hardware for the professional market and it uses only 23GB discs to store the data on (no more tapes). It has a 1.5MP CCD sensor and it supports 1080/23.976p, 25p, 29.97p, 50i, 59.94i.

I added this to my shopping list for our Akiba and Nihon Car & Bike HDTV but then I saw the price… ouch! (see below)
